Aloha! I wanted to WOW you! Hehe... How did I do?

This picture has no filter or effects. It was taken by my sister at the top of the Tantalus lookout here in Hawaii.

I would also like to welcome anyone who is reading this to my site. Thank you for stopping by! I guess I should introduce myself!

Hi! My name is Nalani, and I'm the author of The Dark Side of Paradise and Trafficking Innocence. I started writing my first book, The Dark Side of Paradise, during Hawaii's second complete lockdown and stay-at-home order. It was rough. I'm a single mother to a wonderful 13-year-old boy, but the lockdown was really hard on us (as I'm sure it was for many). So, it was a little crazy time, to say the least, and I was sick of watching Netflix! I've had stories running around my head for years and always wished I had the skill to put them on paper. After a little encouragement from my sister-in-law, I decided to give it a go! Sure enough, once I started, I couldn't stop! I completed the first draft of Dark Side in 28 days! It was a wonderful and amazing experience, and once I was finished, I had the most incredible sense of accomplishment. No one could take that from me, not even negative reviews (even though I haven't gotten any yet, haha!) I wrote for myself. I wrote for love and pure joy, and that was all that mattered to me. Don't get me wrong. I hope you LOVE my books. But, for me, what matters the most, is I had a wonderful time writing them, and I am so proud of this accomplishment!

I think I'll stop there... after all, I need more content for my next blog post!

Mahalo for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed my site, possibly a book, and I hope you have a wonderful day!
